Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Sr Principal Network Engineer to join the Professional Services team. This remote/telework role will be based from home and focuses on designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging networking solutions for HPE’s portfolio with direct customer engagement.

The Resident Engineer oversees Juniper networks technologies, serves as the primary technical contact, and collaborates with engineering partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Juniper Networks technologies and general networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for data center networking technologies with customers.
• Provide primary technical support for break/fix activities to restore services quickly.
• Advise customers on Junos configurations and network design best practices.
• Manage and grow relationships with internal teams and partners involved in engineering design and development.
• Review and evaluate designs for compliance with standards; provide feedback to improve quality.
• Contribute domain-specific expertise and engineering leadership to cross-organizational projects.
• Drive innovation by integrating new technologies into engineering.
