Job summary
WEX Inc. invites a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Mobility Web Experience Engineering organization. You will direct an engineering team, shape culture, and collaborate with Product, Design, Security, and Infrastructure to deliver high-quality web experiences for mobility customers.
You will drive strategy, roadmaps, and metrics, while mentoring managers and engineers and balancing speed with reliability across initiatives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of engineering management experience leading software engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading development of modern, scalable web apps using Angular or React and micro-frontend patterns.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and execute the long-term engineering strategy for the Mobility Web Experience.
- Partner with architects and technical leaders to define the technical vision and architecture for the web platform.
- Develop and maintain the engineering roadmap aligned with business priorities and best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, learning, collaboration, ownership, and operational excellence.
- Lead complex cross-functional engineering initiatives from planning through execution.
