Job summary

XPO is seeking a Lead Engineer, Software Engineering (Mobile Development) to provide technical leadership for cross‑platform mobile applications built with Xamarin/Maui or React Native. You will design, develop, and deliver business technology solutions while mentoring teams and ensuring code quality and timely delivery.

The role requires extensive mobile development experience, strong API/SOA background, and comfortable working across Windows and UNIX environments with Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 4+ years mobile app development with Android.
• Experience as a technical lead.
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Full stack development with C#, Xamarin/Maui, or React Native.
• Experience with SQL/Oracle databases.
• Experience creating/consuming REST APIs and SOA.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mobile development projects.
• Ensure schedules and specifications are met.
• Drive best practices and code quality, refactor where needed.
• Coordinate tasks across teams and IT leadership.
• Define new requirements, assess risks, and propose tools/frameworks.
• Act as liaison between teams and IT leadership; enforce standards.
• Manage code, reviews, and deployments; ensure maintainability.
