Job summary

Plan B Climatech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and cooling design for data centre projects on a fully remote basis in the United States. You’ll serve as the mechanical lead, coordinating with clients and site teams from concept through construction.

You’ll bring 5–10 years of MEP consultancy experience, strong Revit and load calculation skills, and the ability to drive projects with minimal supervision while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in MEP design consultancy.
• Experience in mission-critical or data centre projects.
• Proficient with Revit and performing load calculations.
• Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design on data centre and mission critical projects.
• Design chilled water, CRAH/CRAC and liquid cooling systems.
• Own projects from start to finish and keep clients in the loop.
• Visit sites for surveys, coordination and commissioning support.
