Critical Facility Group is hiring a Mechanical Technical Lead to own complex HVAC designs for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. You will serve as the licensed engineer of record, define technical approaches, and guide engineers and designers on multiple projects.

This hands-on senior role emphasizes engineering excellence, project ownership, and mentorship rather than people management, with remote-first flexibility and monthly site travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Active PE license in a US state.
• 8+ years of mechanical HVAC design experience.
• Experience leading complex projects.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Willingness to travel about once a month.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical HVAC design for data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Establish design criteria, review calculations, equipment selections, drawings, specs.
• Delegate tasks, set expectations, review work of teammates.
• Sign and seal drawings as engineer in responsible charge.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, architecture and PM teams.
• Respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Mentor engineers and ensure technical quality and deadlines.
