Kiva is a global nonprofit dedicated to expanding financial access and supporting underserved communities. The Manager, Strategic Partnerships will grow philanthropic support by cultivating donors and advising donor-advised funds, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Product, and impact teams, and delivering persuasive donor communications.

The role emphasizes strong writing, independent management of complex work, and the ability to build relationships with donors.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, or related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to translate programs and impact data into proposals and donor communications.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder relationships.
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce and digital engagement data to track activity, run reports, evaluate results, and refine strategies.
• Sound judgment and strong relationship-building skills representing an organization with donors and external partners.
• Commitment to mission and values including financial inclusion, equity, and respect for communities served.

Responsabilités

• Cross-functional partnership development (30%). Gather impact data and borrower stories with relevant teams and translate into proposals, reports, newsletters, and donor materials.
• Maintain accurate donor records and track relationship activity, prospect pipelines, and progress toward fundraising and engagement goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to coordinate donor messaging across Strategic Partnerships audiences and channels.
• Use campaign and event results to improve outreach, strengthen calls to action, and assess donor engagement and lead generation.
