NielsenIQ is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to lead the team responsible for internally-developed software, fixed assets, and leases. You will ensure US GAAP compliance, manage monthly closes, and partner with Engineering, Legal and Facilities to maintain accurate capitalization and lease classifications.

This remote role in the United States reports to the Assistant Global Corporate Controller and focuses on process improvements, audits, and ICFR while mentoring hub

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive relevant experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or within a medium to large international organization.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, especially ASC 350-40 (software), ASC 360 (fixed assets) and ASC 842 (leases).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently and engage across all levels.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems, preferably SAP or OneStream; familiarity with lease accounting tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting for IDSW projects, capitalization, cost tracking and useful life evaluations.
• Oversee fixed assets lifecycle including capitalization, depreciation, asset tracking and disposals.
• Oversee accounting for operating and finance leases per ASC 842 and related changes.
• Lead month-end, quarterly and annual close processes; review journals and reconciliations.
• Support external audits and strengthen ICFR; drive process improvements and automation.
