Job summary

NIQ is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to join our finance organization. This role acts as the subject-matter expert and oversees a hub of accountants responsible for IDSW, fixed assets, and leases, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ICFR.

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close, mentor staff, and partner with Legal, Facilities, and Procurement on contracts and changes. This is a remote position for anyone living in the United States.

Qualifications

• IDSW projects and capitalization assessments are required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years progressive relevant experience; Big 4 preferred or within large international org.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, especially ASC 350-40 (software), ASC 360 (fixed assets) and ASC 842 (leases).
• ERP experience with SAP or OneStream is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee software capitalization, cost tracking and asset life testing.
• Manage fixed assets lifecycle, depreciation, disposals and capitalization thresholds.
• Oversee leases under ASC 842, including ROU assets and lease liabilities.
• Coordinate month/quarter/year close and journal entries.
• Lead hub accounting team and provide training and feedback.
• Support external audits and ICFR improvements.
