Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. seeks a Manager of Business Systems Analysis to lead 1–3 Agile teams of Business Systems Analysts (SAFe ART-aligned) and drive high‑impact solutions across Workplace Solutions.

The role emphasizes people leadership, delivery ownership, and technical depth across enterprise platforms and API data integrations to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You will coach analysts, own requirements quality, plan tests, and advance production readiness while fostering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business systems analysis, software development, or consulting.
• 3+ years of people management experience (12+ direct reports).
• 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting API integrations.
• Experience with requirements management, process modeling, and delivery execution.
• Experience with automated testing, test planning, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and third-party vendor integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Business Analysts and emerging leaders
• Own delivery outcomes for assigned teams, ensuring predictable, high-quality execution aligned to priorities
• Oversee business analysis activities including requirements, process design, acceptance criteria, and traceability
• Remove impediments and ensure delivery commitments are met
• Lead test planning and coordination across initiatives and teams
• Partner with QA to strengthen defect prevention, test coverage, and release quality
• Mature testing practices and increase automated testing coverage
• Identify and improve systemic issues (rework, handoffs, unclear ownership)
• Champion operational excellence and organizational change practices
• Facilitate alignment on scope, priorities, trade-offs, and risks
• Communicate clearly with leaders and stakeholders at all levels
• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to foster alignment and collaboration.
