Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is seeking an I/S Agile Project Manager II within Corporate Finance & Operations. You will oversee a portfolio of initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering executive-ready updates while applying SAFe, Scrum, and PMBOK practices.

You will mentor peers, drive risk mitigation, and ensure governance across large-scale data conversions and vendor/system replacements, with a focus on delivering business value and strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of combined project/program management experience in IT/finance
• 5–7 years of information technology and/or business experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across a portfolio
• Knowledge of SAFe Framework and PM methodologies
• Strong facilitation and executive communication skills
• Experience with budgets and costs
• Mentor and develop junior project managers

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the portfolio: manage 2+ concurrent projects with cross-functional teams
• Coordinate risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery constraints across initiatives
• Apply Scrum, XP, Kanban, DevOps, SAFe, or PMBOK practices as appropriate
• Facilitate planning and decision-making with sponsors and technology partners
• Ensure governance and compliance, with action plans for gaps
• Develop stakeholder communication plans and executive updates
• Lead critical path planning and create project artifacts
• Deliver concise, executive-ready progress reports
