Job summary

General Assembly is seeking a Manager of Learning Experience Design to lead discovery, design, and development of transformative learning experiences. You will drive evidence-based, outcome-driven design, collaborate with product and operations, and manage a team of skilled learning professionals across cohorts, modules, and enterprise programs.

You will guide curriculum strategy, maintain quality, and evangelize the Learning Design function to stakeholders while supporting growth across

Qualifications

• Must have strong instructional design experience across multiple learning products.
• Experience leading discovery, design, and development for cohorts and blended programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to influence stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a matrixed environment and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and design processes to uncover learner needs.
• Develop and evolve flagship curriculum with instructor networks.
• Coordinate with product management and operations to improve learning experiences.
• Implement modular curriculum design and personalized learning strategies.
• Manage staffing models to support curriculum development and delivery.
• Evangelize the Learning Design team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ensure access to tools, training, and support for the team.
• Maintain evidence-based design and continual program improvements.
