Job summary

S:US is seeking a Learning Experience Design Manager in New York, responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs across the organization. You will partner with leaders to assess needs, develop effective solutions, and drive adult-learning-based experiences that enhance knowledge and skills.

You will lead design projects, manage programs from inception to evaluation, and promote facilitator excellence and continuous improvement across learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in instructional design, learning experience design, organizational development, talent development, training, or a related field.
• Strong consultation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing learning programs and curricula for adult learners.
• Demonstrated experience designing creative, low-budget solutions.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and learning experience design principles.
• Experience conducting learning needs analyses, clarifying stakeholder needs, and translating business challenges into measurable learning outcomes and effective learning and performance solutions.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and simultaneous initiatives.
• Experience evaluating learning effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills across audiences.
• Experience with authoring tools and learning technologies such as Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia
• Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and learning technologies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Learning Experience Design: Design, develop, curate, and improve learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles.
• Program Ownership & Project Leadership: Manage learning programs from planning through evaluation.
• Facilitation Excellence & Learning Delivery: Facilitate experiences and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Learning Quality & Continuous Improvement: Support evaluation and set quality standards.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Partnership: Build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Professional Consulting: Act as internal learning consultant for leaders and teams.
• Facilitation Excellence & Learning Delivery: Coach trainers and promote engagement.
