Job summary

General Assembly is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, and contextualize scalable learning programs for enterprise and technical audiences. You will lead end-to-end productization of learning, collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and client teams, and apply AI tools to create practical, outcome-driven training experiences.

You will translate complex concepts into engaging forms, ensure accessibility and measurable outcomes, and drive program timelines from discovery

Qualifications

• 5+ years in instructional design or related field.
• Experience designing learning for enterprise, professional, or technical audiences.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to design learning experiences.
• Ability to manage clients, SMEs, instructors and vendors.
• Knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE and adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead designing high-quality learning programs for enterprise and technical audiences.
• Create instructor-led training materials: slides, labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides.
• Develop exercises using AI tools and real workplace scenarios.
• Collaborate with SMEs, instructors, product managers, and client teams from discovery to delivery.
• Define learning outcomes and ensure alignment with client goals and market needs.
