Job summary

General Assembly is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to craft enterprise learning programs, including AI-enabled development, for professional audiences. You will lead design initiatives that translate complex concepts into practical, scalable training solutions.

You will create instructor-led training materials—slides, labs, simulations, assessments—and collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and client teams to ensure measurable outcomes and impactful learning experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design.
• Experience creating instructor-led training content.
• Ability to manage clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for learning design.
• Experience designing learning experiences for AI and emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead GA learning programs for AI and emerging technology.
• Own design process from discovery to delivery with timelines.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to identify client needs.
• Create instructor-led materials including labs, simulations, and guides.
• Develop scalable, high-quality programs aligned with instructional standards.
