Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a senior leader to manage a high-performing Commercial Auto Liability Claims team with nationwide exposure. The role focuses on complex Bodily Injury claims, litigation management, and driving exceptional outcomes while mentoring adjusters.

The position supports fully remote work across jurisdictions, requiring extensive leadership and claims expertise. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in commercial auto claims, 8+ years in leadership, and licensure across states.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Commercial Auto Liability claims experience with complex and high-exposure cases.
• Leadership experience of at least 8 years.
• Licensed and/or certified in states where claims are handled, nationwide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise: Lead and encourage a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Promote Best Practices: Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Drive Talent: Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage Workloads: Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Utilize Technology: Harness Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Prioritize and Develop: Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities, and position team members for successful development.
