Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a senior claims leader to supervise an auto and general liability claims team with nationwide license requirements. The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and process improvement to deliver high-quality service.

Remote work is available with opportunities for development and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires extensive claims experience, leadership skills, and licensing across states, with preference for Bodily Injury and Litigation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of all team member related functions.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Bodily Injury and Litigation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB's Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Harness Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Identify coaching opportunities and position team members for successful development.
