Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop geospatial analysis, ETL, and visualization microservices in Java. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable services interacting with relational and NoSQL databases.

Work with product teams to gather requirements, lead geospatial feature development, and mentor peers while promoting a high-quality, performant codebase and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• 20 years’ experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s or higher in CS or related field; 4 additional years may substitute for degree.
• Deep knowledge of Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Experience with cloud-based development and deployment.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java microservices with geospatial functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead technical design and implementation of geospatial features.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.
