Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop geospatial analysis, ETL, and visualization microservices in Java. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable services that interact with relational and NoSQL databases.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. The position requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, 20 years of experience, and a BS in CS or Software Engineering; remote work is supported

Qualifications

• Top secret clearance requirements: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 20 years of programs with similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's or higher in CS/Software Engineering; 4 years can substitute for degree.
• Deep knowledge of Java and Spring Boot/Hibernate.
• Experience with cloud-based development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java microservices with geospatial capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead technical design of geospatial features aligned with architecture and mission objectives.
• Work with product managers to gather requirements and provide technical input.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.
