Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design and develop mission-critical enterprise capabilities using Java-based microservices and geospatial technology.

You will contribute to containerized microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures while leveraging a modern stack. This role offers a flexible schedule and telework opportunities with a highly skilled technical team.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• 14 years of experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; four additional years may substitute for degree.
• Deep knowledge of Java and frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Experience with cloud-based development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java microservices with geospatial features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust software solutions.
• Lead technical design and implementation of geospatial features aligned with architecture and mission objectives.
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements for planning and execution.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure code quality and best practices.
