Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and sustain geospatial applications and Java-based microservices for mission-critical operations.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions, build cloud-native, containerized services, and integrate APIs and geospatial technologies for new capabilities, all within a DevSecOps framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented software development principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and modern software design principles.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and their interactions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level of security clearance.
