Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in developing geospatial analysis, ETL, and visualization microservices using Java. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices that interact with relational and NoSQL databases to support mission-focused systems.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, 20 years of related experience, a CS/SE degree, and deep Java knowledge (Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Qualifications

• 20 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• In-depth knowledge of Java and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java microservices with geospatial features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of geospatial features within the architecture and mission objectives.
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements for planning and execution.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold best practices.
