Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior project professional in Tysons, VA to lead IV&V engagements, modernization, and system integration initiatives. You may be an IC or PMO leader, coordinating resources, governance, and client expectations with senior management.

You'll plan assessments, develop findings, and deliver executive briefings, while mentoring junior analysts. This remote role requires up to 30% travel and a strong track record in public sector or regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years leading technology implementations or digital transformation.
• 2+ years IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance or equivalent assessments.
• Experience evaluating governance, risks, schedules, and delivery readiness.
• Experience creating executive briefings and client-facing deliverables.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior contributor or project manager on projects.
• Manage resource allocation and ensure utilization goals.
• Act as the central interface for project issues and client expectations.
• Maintain resource availability information and support governance.
• Lead IV&V engagements and assess program readiness and progress.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and executive briefings.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to practice growth.
