Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced project leadership professional to guide technology implementation and modernization programs in a remote capacity with travel up to 30%. The role emphasizes IV&V, governance, risk management, and client-facing deliverables across federal and state-level initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to standards. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of delivery experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technology implementation, modernization, system integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• 2+ years of IV&V, QA, QC, PMO governance, project oversight, audit, or compliance review experience.
• Experience evaluating governance, management practices, risks, schedules, and readiness.
• Experience developing assessment findings, executive briefings, and client-facing deliverables.
• Strong analytical, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior level contributor or project manager depending on project.
• Manage resource allocation within the unit and coordinate with senior management to meet utilization goals.
• Act as the central point of contact for all project-related issues and maintain resource availability data.
• Facilitate design discussions to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented and compliant with standards.
• Lead IV&V engagements supporting technology implementation, modernization, and system integration.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assessment activities including interviews, workshops, and reviews.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and client-facing deliverables; communicate with stakeholders and leadership.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to practice-growth activities when opportunities arise.
