Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Department’s commercial transactions team in Plano, Texas, with remote options. The attorney will negotiate and document IT, applications, and AI services contracts and support employment law and corporate governance matters as needed.

The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, independent judgment, and the ability to work with senior executives across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a lawyer; 3+ years drafting and negotiating IT services agreements.
• Experience negotiating IT, applications, or business process outsourcing agreements.
• Ability to interact with senior business executives and provide risk-based advice.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead counsel drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IT, applications, digital, and AI services contracts for sales and delivery teams.
• Advise on terms, scope of services, pricing, IP, termination, and benchmarking in outsourcing deals.
• Support employment law matters and corporate governance as needed.
• Collaborate with internal units and global stakeholders; manage escalations.
