Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Delivery Leader to oversee the development, maintenance, testing and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system supporting State Medicaid clients. This role provides delivery leadership across multiple teams, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions for a COTS healthcare product.

The position is fully remote with up to 25% travel. You will partner with managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and infrastructure staff to ensure consistent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software delivery with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience overseeing enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid-related.
• Strong communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for project technology issues and client interface.
• Manage expectations, assess needs, and prioritize with stakeholders.
• Lead delivery across application development, systems integration, and infrastructure.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, release management, and QA processes.
• Coordinate technical presentations and demonstrations for stakeholders.
• Oversee development, maintenance, and enhancement of a COTS healthcare system serving Medicaid clients
• Ensure high-quality, compliant solutions with necessary configurations
• Collaborate with multiple teams through managers to deliver projects
