Maximus is seeking an experienced Delivery Leader to oversee development, testing, and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system supporting State Medicaid clients. You will lead multiple teams to ensure high-quality, compliant solutions and strong client partnerships.

This is a fully remote role with travel up to 25% and opportunities for professional growth, comprehensive benefits, and a focus on delivering value to state Medicaid programs across the country.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering software or healthcare IT projects.
• Proven experience leading multi-team delivery across organizations.
• Strong communication with executives and clients.
• Experience guiding SDLC and release management for complex systems.
• Knowledge of Medicaid or payer environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as delivery lead for enterprise-scale healthcare IT projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet timelines, budgets, and quality goals.
• Build trusted client relationships and manage expectations across stakeholders.
• Oversee lifecycle activities: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Identify risks, craft mitigation plans, and communicate status to leadership.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with governance.
