Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Delivery Leader to oversee a large-scale healthcare system for State Medicaid clients. You will guide development, testing, and implementation across multiple teams while ensuring compliant, high-quality solutions.

This is a fully remote role with up to 25% travel. You will partner with managers, analysts, developers, testers and operations staff to ensure successful onboarding and delivery of COTS healthcare products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of professional experience or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software delivery experience with 5+ years in technical leadership or management.
• Experience overseeing delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid-related.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication; able to present complex concepts to executives.
• Experience managing and supporting matrixed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Project and other project management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements gathering, release/change management, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client-facing delivery leader for project technology issues.
• Manage expectations, assess needs, and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
• Build trust and strong client relationships; identify opportunities to add value.
• Review deliverables to ensure quality and contractual compliance.
• Lead project management activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and staffing.
