Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide professional administrative and customer service support to the account team and producers. You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and client submissions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of insurance customer service, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. A current license is required with CISR preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: client research, submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, and policy issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
