Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team and producers. You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and client submissions while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insurance customer service, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Licensing is required with CISR preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business through client research, submissions, and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
