Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team under an Account Manager or Producer. The role emphasizes renewals, endorsements, submissions, and ensuring accuracy of policy data across client files.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Track activity and suspense items to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent communication with the account team on workload.
• Deliver excellent service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in IOA values.
