Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client-facing support to the account team. You will work under supervision to ensure renewals, endorsements, and submissions are handled accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. A CISR designation is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, invoices, and binders.
• Assist in supporting new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, and bind coverage.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor accounts receivable and take action on delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
