Insurance Office of America is hiring a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines. The role supports account teams, under supervision of AM/AE/Producer, handling renewals, endorsements, and client service for commercial accounts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance client service, active licensing (CISR preferred), and strong communication and analytical skills. Expect a collaborative, process-driven environment with growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, and bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
• Communicate workload status with the account team and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
