Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client support to the account team, under supervision of an AM/AE/Producer. Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing is required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages, prepare proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts; collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent communication with the account team about workload and issues.
• Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipate needs, respond to requests promptly.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
