Job summary

Kemper is seeking a Senior Inside Sales Account Manager to develop the Inside Sales team and drive new business quotas. You will coordinate with leadership to ensure timely, high-quality execution of daily Inside Sales activities.

Responsibilities include onboarding agents, outbound calling, CRM updates, and preparing performance reports. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills with potential travel for agent visits.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Inside Sales experience.
• 2 years of industry experience.
• Demonstrates effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible in nature and highly motivated self-starter.
• Basic PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Should demonstrate time management skills.
• Should be a logical problem solver.
• Possible interest in career growth to outside sales (could require future relocation).
• Comfort level interpreting statistical data from company reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding & mentoring new Inside Sales Executives to hit new business quota.
• Execute outbound calls (20-50/day).
• Act as liaison between agency and company to resolve issues affecting growth.
• Maintain CRM data, prepare reports, and submit monthly territory documentation.
• Train agents on underwriting guidelines, procedures, and programs.
• Match agency to products offered.
• Occasional field travel to visit agents (once/year).
• Attend sales and education meetings and pursue career development.
