Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to lead cross‑functional initiatives focused on secure authentication, identity lifecycle, and governance across a hybrid environment. You will design, implement, and operate SSO, MFA, and RBAC controls while supporting complex integration programs.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and collaboration with Security, IT Operations, HR, and Dev teams to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience as an IAM Engineer, with experience supporting M&A integration projects.
• Strong command of Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Hands-on with IdPs and governance suites such as Okta, Ping Identity, Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, or ForgeRock.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM workstreams for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
• Consolidate disparate identity providers (IdPs) into a unified enterprise SSO platform.
• Design and execute cross-domain authentication and federation strategies.
• Develop automated workflows and API-driven integrations for onboarding/offboarding (LCM).
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for IAM configurations.
• Design and enforce Enterprise SSO Security Policies including MFA, RBAC, and conditional access.
