Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Enterprise Presales Architect to serve as a trusted advisor, leading discovery and architecture for Morpheus Enterprise across private, public, and hybrid-cloud environments.

You will deliver compelling demonstrations, design solutions, and ROI models while collaborating with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, hybrid-cloud automation, solution architecture, or related disciplines.
• Hands‑on experience with hypervisors and virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, KVM, Nutanix, OpenShift, or comparable platforms.
• Experience designing and supporting private, public, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience with major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business needs and hybrid-cloud strategies.
• Architect and position Morpheus Enterprise solutions across private, public, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Deliver technical presentations, live demonstrations, architecture reviews, and POCs.
• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities and accelerate deals through the sales cycle.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value including automation, governance, and cost optimization.
• Develop solution proposals, technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, and ROI models.
• Advise customers on virtualization, cloud orchestration, and workload management strategies.
• Collaborate with presales, engineering, product management, and professional services for successful handoffs.
• Provide field insights to influence product direction and GTM strategies.
• Develop and share best practices, playbooks, demonstrations, and customer success stories.
