Qualifications

• Bachelor's in civil or mechanical engineering with 4+ years in electric utility transmission design.
• Lead level requires 8+ years in transmission design and 2+ years leadership experience.
• Experience reviewing full transmission designs: PLS-CADD, foundations, materials, plans, specs.
• Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, ASCE; procurement processes; project schedules and work packages.
• Willingness to travel up to 10-15% and communicate with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design HV/EHV transmission lines and underground systems per standards.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and procurement packages.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals; interface with clients and teams.
• Lead/mentorship responsibilities for junior staff on project teams.
