Job summary
Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to translate vendor file specs into detailed data mappings and align data with the Enterprise Data Platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate data integration, validation, and delivery within the analytics ecosystem.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, or related fields and advanced Excel/SQL/Power BI skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation and Databricks.
- Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements and technical specs.
- Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specs and data dictionaries.
Responsibilities
- Convert vendor-provided file specifications into detailed data mappings aligned with EDP structures.
- Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.
- Support data quality and data stewardship to maintain data accuracy.
- Provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners.
