Job summary
Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to provide data analysis support and translate vendor specifications into detailed mappings for the Enterprise Data Platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure proper data integration, validation, and delivery within the analytics ecosystem.
The role emphasizes data quality, stewardship, and using analytics to deliver data-driven insights to business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
- Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks skills.
- Experience developing source-to-target mapping docs and technical specs.
- Experience with QA/UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation.
Responsibilities
- Convert vendor file specs into detailed data mapping documentation aligned with EDP structures and business rules.
- Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure proper data integration and delivery.
- Support data quality and data stewardship to maintain data accuracy.
- Provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners.
