Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst for a fully remote role. You will transform vendor specifications into data mappings and work with stakeholders to ensure data is properly integrated within the enterprise analytics platform.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in analytics or related field and advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks skills. The base pay range is $106,516.80–$157,268.80 annually, with potential additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field (Required).
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks skills.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with Excel and documentation/collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.).
• Experience solving business problems with data.

Responsibilities

• Translate vendor file specifications into detailed data mapping documentation.
• Serve as liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Support data quality, data stewardship, and validation activities.
• Assist QA/UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation.
• Experience working with healthcare data domains is preferred.
