Job summary

Nelnet is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the FACTS Grant & Aid/Scholarship Granting Organization (G&A/SGO) team. This role drives end-to-end implementation and account management for SGOs and related groups, delivering high-level client support, training, and process optimization.

You will collaborate across Sales, Product, IT, and Operations, ensuring compliance, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction while expanding product utilization and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years in a customer service or account management role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support by assessing client needs and mapping to FACTS’ G&A.
• Lead all aspects of implementation for the G&A solution for SGOs.
• Build relationships with client contacts through outreach, configuration, training, and feedback.
• Guide clients in using value-added services and reporting.
• Manage awarding functions, document reviews, and reporting.
• Stay informed on tax laws and state credits and inform teams.
• Document internal procedures and best practices for SGOs.
• Serve as G&A SME and advise internal teams.
• Foster cross-department communication to ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage escalated issues with root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Represent Operations and act as decision-maker in leadership absence.
• Handle functionality tickets via ADO with timely follow-up.
• Support Training Team with refresher sessions.
