Zoom is seeking a Senior Accountant for the General Ledger team to own the full accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, partnering with Engineering and FP&A to ensure accurate records. You will contribute to close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including 2+ years in a public company.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge with month-, quarter-, and year-end close experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and advanced Excel.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to automate accounting tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting for Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements under ASC 350-40.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and allocations with supporting docs.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate items timely.
• Analyze monthly/quarterly variances with FP&A for explanations.
• Support reporting packages and management P&L summaries.
• Ensure US GAAP and SOX controls compliance; test controls effectiveness.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly/annual close and assist audits.
• Collaborate with IT to evaluate AI-driven tools and ERP improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance automation.
