Job summary

Curai Health is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a fully remote US-based role. You will work across the stack, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with ML researchers, physicians, and product teams to deliver high-impact features.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of full-stack experience, strong React and Python skills, and familiarity with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and RESTful services. We value testing, scalable design, and end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer delivering features end-to-end.
• Proficient with React—components, hooks, state management, performance.
• Backend experience with Python, preferably FastAPI/Starlette.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases; model access patterns well.
• Comfort with asynchronous workflows and background jobs.
• Proven testing mindset: e2e, visual regression, CI daily deployments.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Terraform, AI/ML tech, Git and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Work across the stack to drive high-leverage projects from concept through completion.
• Lead architecture decisions and API/system design across teams.
• Collaborate with ML researchers, doctors, product managers, and UX researchers.
• Develop and update user-facing features with a focus on quality and performance.
• Ensure consistent APIs across services and frontend integration patterns.
• Produce detailed technical specifications and feature documentation.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to enable frequent releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and help define features with stakeholders.
