Job summary

Commure seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and support backend and frontend logic for healthcare AI applications. You will create scalable, robust systems enabling providers to deliver higher quality patient care.

You will collaborate with product, design, and fellow engineers to evolve architecture, implement new features, and drive performance improvements. This remote full-time role supports US-based teams and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Professional software development experience with full-stack development including backend APIs, frontend UI, system integrations, and user authentication.
• Deep expertise in Java programming with scalable architectures.
• Experience building enterprise-grade full-stack apps using Spring Boot, React, UX frameworks, and relational/document databases.
• Proven experience deploying cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong REST API design, and experience building/consuming APIs.
• Relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and document DBs (MongoDB).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop healthcare AI applications with scalable backend/frontend logic.
• Architect robust, cloud-native system designs with maintainable architectures.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to translate requirements to solutions.
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability of applications.
• Innovate with AI/ML features and maintain code quality via reviews/tests.
• Contribute to deployment and support of on-prem and cloud-based solutions.
• Maintain documentation and conduct thorough testing.
• Drive secure, enterprise-grade implementations and CI/CD pipelines.
