Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud cases and contribute to prevention initiatives. You’ll analyze predictive reports, take action on accounts, and collaborate with tech partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.

Role supports remote, hybrid, and in-person work arrangements; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Exercises mature judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• The Fraud Investigator II role manages a broad range of fraud case types and supports fraud prevention initiatives.
• Reviews predictive reports daily and takes appropriate actions on accounts.
• Participates in Fraud Team projects and trains members and employees on fraud topics.
