Job summary

Lumen seeks a Senior Manager, FP&A in the United States to lead planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across the SPO organization. You will supervise two analysts and deliver base management, migrations, renewals, and revenue forecasting with executive-ready insights.

You will drive financial rigor, support growth initiatives, and partner with sales leadership to align budgets with strategic priorities. Remote-friendly role with nationwide applicability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance with planning, forecasting, and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer base analytics (renewals, churn, contract term, or pipeline/funnel analysis).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Power BI, and Salesforce.
• Experience in finance business partnership, strategic initiatives, or related roles.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own base management reporting for migrations and renewals.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting, including funnel analysis, conversion, pipeline coverage, and sales productivity.
• Support Revenue Finance rhythms: monthly forecasts, annual planning, performance reviews.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and business cases for SPO.
• Translate complex financial data into executive-ready insights for decision-making.
• Own and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two analysts.
• Partner with SPO and sales leadership and track migration/renewal performance against plan.
