Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for SEF Americas to lead financial stewardship across multiple sites as a remote employee in the United States.

You will partner with operations leadership, manage actuals, forecasts, budgets, and performance reviews, and drive cost, cash, and productivity improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• CPA or CMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations finance.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of JDE Edwards and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
• Demonstrates an enterprise mindset and balances local site needs with broader business priorities.
• Leads change effectively and helps teams navigate transformation, ambiguity, and evolving business requirements.
• Develops people through coaching, feedback, and talent planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance and accounting leader across multiple sites.
• Act as a trusted business partner to operations leadership to shape decisions and improve performance.
• Lead actuals, forecasts, budgets, and performance reviews with timely visibility to risks and actions.
• Drive cost, cash, and productivity performance across plants with site leaders on corrective actions.
• Translate plant performance data into actionable insights and business cases for strategic planning.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOX discipline across plants.
• Lead and influence site Controllers and extended finance teams to build capability and accountability.
• Support capital prioritization, transformation initiatives, and process improvements.
• Promote standardization and continuous improvement across sites to improve decision quality.
• Build relationships across operations, supply chain, and corporate functions.
