Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks a Senior Finance Manager, SEF Americas, to lead financial stewardship across multiple sites in a remote role. You’ll partner with operations leadership, manage actuals, forecasts and budgets, and drive cost and productivity improvements across plants while strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations finance.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of JDE Edwards and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance and accounting leader, with ownership for financial stewardship, accurate reporting, and alignment to corporate standards across multiple sites.
• Act as a trusted business partner to operations leadership, shaping decisions to improve business performance.
• Lead actuals, forecasts, budgets, and performance reviews with timely visibility to risks and actions.
• Drive cost, cash, and productivity performance across plants by identifying trends and partnering with site leaders.
• Translate plant performance data into actionable insights and business cases for strategic planning and value creation.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOX discipline, audit readiness and ethical culture.
• Lead site Controllers, Finance Managers, and extended teams to ensure consistent execution.
• Support capital prioritization, transformation initiatives, and process improvements.
