Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering to lead a team of Solutions Architects serving the Financial Services segment, guiding enterprise software, big data/analytics, data engineering and AI initiatives.

You will partner with Sales to accelerate revenue and customer success, hire and coach top talent, and ensure the team stays ahead on the Databricks technology stack, with remote work and office hubs in the North East or Midwest.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product (data warehousing, big data, ML, or generative AI)
• Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding data infrastructure decisions
• Lead a team through technical qualification, validations, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations
• Establish partnerships with SI/ISV to maximize client success
• Experience hiring, ramping, and promoting talent to larger roles
• Create a positive culture bridging Field Engineering, Sales, and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities
