Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering to lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting the Financial Services segment.

You will partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to accelerate customer success using Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform. You will hire, train, and scale a high-performing SA team, establishing external partnerships and ensuring the team stays ahead of the technical curve with the latest Databricks technologies.

Qualifications

Proven experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams.
10+ years in the data space with a technical product.
Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding data infrastructure decisions.
Lead teams through qualification, validations, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
Establish partnerships with systems integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs).

Responsibilities

Hire, train, and grow a team of Solutions Architects for a high-growth company.
Make customers extremely successful with Databricks and deliver outsized value.
Maintain a robust hiring pipeline of qualified candidates.
